The Rivers

Halibut fisheries typically open May 1st on the Oregon Coast and close some time in the fall. Bottom fishing gives us year-round opportunities at catching fish. Crabbing dates can be mixed with any ocean fishing trips or just crabbing trips alone. Crabbing dates vary each year.

We operate under a BLM granted permit to guide this section of the Rogue River near Grants Pass. This section of river is known for it's scenic beauty and gives anglers opportunities at fish headed to multiple tributaries.

Enjoy a day anchored up on a covered, heated jet boat on the scenic Rogue River out of Gold Beach. Spring salmon are the best tasting salmon of the salmon fisheries. They fight hard and hooking one offers loads of excitement.

The Rogue Bay is a world class Chinook/King Salmon fishery. These fish range from 18-40 lbs. The bite is always on with fish moving in daily from the ocean. Experience your rod bend and your reel scream as you hook into a hard fighting King! Come join us on this beautiful river for a day of trolling.

Come troll the ocean for salmon on the beautiful Oregon Coast from Brookings north to Winchester Bay. Schools of salmon are not too far off the coast. If the salmon are not cooperating we will switch gear and go get a limit of bottom fish.

*dates vary with ODFW season dates each year

*weather also dictates this fishery

September marks the start of the Chetco Chinook Salmon run. These fish are built like footballs and fight like trophies! Fish average 20 to 25 lbs with an opportunity to hook into a 50+ lb king. They move in and out with the tides and are always bright!

Once the rains come, we move up river for a beautiful float down river in our drift boat for continued opportunities at big Kings through November.

When the rains come in the fall we move to the Elk and Sixes Rivers for an opportunity to catch Chinook Salmon as they arrive from the ocean. These small rivers provide a full, fun day of fishing action.

These fish show up with the rains. Come join us for a peaceful drift down river with an opportunity to catch bright, hard fighting steelhead!

The lower Rogue river's winter steelhead gives you an opportunity to catch fresh fish from the ocean in an anchored jet boat that is covered and heated. This fishery starts in December and peaks in January through February.

The Elk offers a drift boat opportunity at both hatchery and wild steelhead. Fish range in the 6 - 14 lb range with occaisional bigger hook ups.
